I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were huge, very clean, and nicely furnished, just the right distance from the city center. The service provided by the staff was amazing - so friendly and helpful. The location was brilliant, within walking distance to everything I needed. The dining experience was excellent with a good choice of freshly cooked items. However, the pricing could be more competitive, and some areas could benefit from a fresh design and layout.

I had a brilliant stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean and very comfortable, the breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options, and the staff was incredibly helpful. The location was perfect, just a short walk from York city centre. The only downside was some nit-picking for the excellent price, but overall, without any delays, it was a great experience!

The hotel is ideally located for a short stroll into the center of York, with car parking facilities making it convenient. The rooms, although a bit noisy and warm due to its old building, are fantastic overall. The breakfast was excellent, and the walk to town was enjoyable, although the rooms are on the second floor.

The rooms were fantastic apart from being a little noisy due to the room above and warm, which is expected in such old buildings. Accessing the room via a spiral staircase and being directly above the bar's music didn't affect the overall experience.

The service was top-notch. The staff at reception and during breakfast were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were super helpful with anything we needed, making the stay very pleasant. The 7:30 AM onwards availability added convenience to our schedule.
